Health care services in Tabora Municipality are run as a multi sectoral component involving the public voluntary and private sector. All these deal with provision and promotion of the quality health care to Municipality community in order to reduce the mortality rate and uplift life expectancy. These are implemented through the health facilities network which is responsible for diagnose, treatment, immunization health education and family planning through home visiting and counseling and referring of complicated cases. The funding of community health in HIV & AIDS control and prevention of communicable diseases like choleras, TB, typhoid, meningitis etc. should be priorities in improving Community health.
